You can set up your Uniden UBC73XLT scanner to scan the frequencies you listen to the most. Divide the frequencies between the channels so you can easily keep track of each group, allowing you to disable entire groups at once when necessary. Scan the frequencies within range of your scanner if you are unsure which frequencies you are able to receive. Programming the frequencies that are important to you will help ensure that you do not miss important transmissions.
Instructions
1. Press the HOLD button on your Uniden scanner. Input the channel number where you want the frequency stored.
2. Press Func and Pgm. Check for the channel number to appear on the display.
3. Enter the frequency using the number keys and the decimal found on the scanner's keypad. Push Clr if you need to make a correction to the frequency. Enter the frequency correctly, then press E to store the frequency.
