Make A Bow Tie Out Of Shoe Laces

You can tie any types of shoelaces in a bow.

Most people learn to tie shoelaces at a very young age. While some methods are more complicated than others are, the most common method is the standard knot. When tied correctly the standard-knot method forms a bow.

Instructions

1. Tie a starting knot by crossing one shoelace over the other to form an X. Put one end of the shoelace through the loop at the bottom of the X. Pull each end tightly to complete the knot.

2. Make a loop with the right shoelace. Wrap the string on the left behind the loop and continue it around to the front.

3. Feed the right lace into the gap until it forms another loop. Pull the loop through the gap.

4. Hold both loops and pull tightly to create the bow-tie knot.
