The XE 1000 is designed for both cooling and heating homes.
The XE 1000 is a U.L. listed heat pump produced by Trane. It is capable of operating at outdoor ambient temperatures of 115 degrees Fahrenheit, and can be upgraded through a large range of optional equipment.
Compressor
A high efficiency Climatuff compressor listed at one to 3.5 tons powers the XE 1000.
Low ambient cooling
As standard, the unit's cooling capacity is 55 degrees Fahrenheit. An evaporator defrost control (EDC accessory AY28X084), can be fitted to reduce this to 40 degrees, and a thermal expansion valve can reduce it further to 30 degrees.
Casing
Designed for outdoor application, the casing is made of galvanized, heavy gauge steel with weather-resistant paint.
Dimensions
Eight models are available and the dimensions of the units vary depending on the model. The standard unit, TWR012C, measures 23-5/8 ins. by 20 ins. by 24-3/8 ins. The largest unit, TWR060D, measures 38-7/8 ins. by 34-3/4 ins. by 37 ins.
