Looking for Lighting Ideas - Vaulted Kitchen Ceiling
Greetings all! I just bought my first home! (Townhome) I'm currently renovating it as the original owner hasn't done the carpets/paint/etc... since it was first installed back in '86. The biggest issue I have so far is trying to figure out lighting for the kitchen due to the fact that it's a vaulted ceiling. Attached is the picture, and the divider wall is not there anymore and I am putting in an island. Of course I'm thinking of putting some lighting over the island, but I can't think of other lighting that would work well, but not look so crowded. The best I can come up with is over the island and under the cabinet LED lighting. Thoughts? Welcome to the forums and congrats on the new home. You've got a tough job there. Tough to reach the ceiling and even tougher to wire thru the ceiling. The roof is directly above the vaulted ceiling ? Under cabinet lights is definitely a good start though. Have to give it some thought. Maybe some track lighting.
