Clear Age Spots







Age spots come in many different shapes and colors. However, they are impossible to deny as we get older. Some are caused by sun damage, other by diet and other by stress. No two aging spots are the same. Fortunately, there are several options for clearing age spots from your skin.

1. Consult a doctor about laser treatments. Dermatologists use lasers to remove a variety of skin deformities including aging spots. This method can be very costly and very painful and does not work on all types of aging spots. Make an appointment to have your trouble areas looked at.


2. Purchase a pigment lightening gel. Several companies offer products which you apply to the spots and are supposed to clear the area. There are dozens of different products that cover a wide cost spectrum.


3. Begin a regular exercise routine. Many maladies our bodies suffer are a direct result of the condition of our bodies. Beginning to exercise more helps build up the body’s natural defenses and in many cases can clear age spots from the skin.


4. Change your diet in addition to exercise. Diet and exercise work hand in hand to improve your wellness. Eating more fruits and vegetables and avoiding fried, fatty foods and junk food will contribute to your skin’s health and eventually reverse the age spots.


5. Include a variety of vitamins into your diet also helps clear the signs of aging on the skin. Beta-Carotene slows the aging process. Vitamin C is an antioxidant which helps aide tissue repair. Vitamin E helps slow the aging process and aid in tissue repair by taking either a pill or rubbing cream on the spots.
