Treating Diabetes


It is claimed that ginseng is useful in treating Type II diabetes. This is one of the health claims that has some science behind it, as studies have suggested it can lower blood glucose.


Recovering From Illness


Studies have also hinted that ginseng may boost immune system response, making it a useful aid in recovering from an illness.


Sexual Disfunction


It is often claimed that ginseng can treat erectile problems and sexual issues relating to menopause, but there is no real evidence to support this.


Energy Boost and Weight Loss


Ginseng extract drinks boost stamina and energy, and ginseng tea can promote fat burning and weight loss. There is some anecdotal evidence but no real scientific proof for these claims.
