A powder sachet is a cloth bag or pouch that contains perfumed powder or powdered herbs. The sachet is often placed in a dresser drawer or trunk to give the clothes in the drawer a pleasant scent. They can also be placed in bath water for aroma and herbal therapy purposes and give leave the scent of the sachet on the skin. A powder sachet is easy to make with your favorite scented powder and herbs.
Instructions
1. Decide the use and purpose for your powder sachet. Study the aromatherapy benefits of herbs and different scents. You can use bath salt in your bag as well if you are going to use it in a bath to relax your muscles.
2. Use a scoop to pour the scented powder and powdered herbs into a thin cotton bag or in the center of a square of fabric. You can use any porous material such as cotton or cheese cloth.
3. Tie the bag shut with a piece of string if the bag you are using doesn't already have a built-in draw-string. Tie a longer piece of string in a loop around the top so it can hang in a closet or hang by the faucet if you are using it in a bath.
