If you wear dentures, you need to know
Instructions
1. Fill the denture cup with water. Make sure the water is warm, but not hot since this could melt your dentures. Only fill the cup halfway since it will rise once you put in your dentures.
2. Add a denture cleaning tablet. Cleaning tablets come in strips of four or six depending on the size of the box. Tear off one of the tablets, open it and put the tablet in the cup. Try not to touch the tablet--open the top and then let the tablet fall out into the denture cup and throw away the packaging.
3. Wait until the cleaning tablet dissolves. There will be bubbling from the cleaning tablet until it dissolves. Once it dissolves, take out your dentures and put them in the water. If the water doesn't cover the dentures, then add some more water until they are covered.
4. Let your dentures sit in the water for at least 15 minutes. If you are using the overnight tablets, you can leave your dentures in the water overnight and clean them with the toothbrush in the morning. Even with the regular tablets, you can leave them in overnight if you choose.
5. Clean your dentures with the toothbrush. Once you have let them sit in the water for a time take the dentures out one at a time and using the toothbrush and the cleaning solution from the denture cup, clean each plate. After you clean them and rinse them with clear water, apply adhesive and place them back in your mouth.
