Create Sesame Street Birthday Invitations

Sesame Street is a show that uses animations, puppets, and famous actors, to help children learn. The show has been around for a long time and extends across many cultural borders. For that reason, most children have heard of the show and are also fans. If your child is getting ready to have a birthday party, sending out Sesame Street invitations to their friends will likely be a huge hit amongst them. You can create these invitations for your child with ease using software that you already have on your home computer.

Instructions

1. Open a program on your computer, such as MS Word or Adobe, that will allow you to create birthday invitations.

2. Click on the File option from the menu bar. Select New to begin creating a new document. Some programs will also allow you to select pre-installed invitation templates. For Microsoft Word, after clicking on New you can select Installed Templates and Invitation.

3. Create text for your invitation that includes, the name of the child, the date, time, and location of the birthday party.

You can get creative with your text by using word's from the Sesame Street theme song. For example, you can say Come and play, everything's A-OK followed by the date and time. You can add, Friendly neighbors there that's where we meet

followed by the location you will be meeting. Add get to Sesame Street if you want to add driving directions or mile-markers for parents.

4. Add Sesame Street graphics, such as Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Elmo, and the Sesame Street sign, to your birthday invitation. A few of the websites that you can go to access Sesame Street images have been included in the Resources section of this article.

5. Save your invitation once you have finished creating it to your satisfaction.

6. Print your invitation. Use high quality card stock paper that can be purchased from your local office supply store for a professional appearance. If you don't want to pay for card stock paper, you also have the option of using regular copy paper. The main difference between the two types of paper is quality.
