Migraines can be triggered by stress, fatigue, foods, weather. Extended exposure to bright lights and loud noise can worsen migraine symptoms. You can relieve migraine symptoms with sleep or rest in a dark, quite room, cold packs or showers, exercise and rehydration. Your health care provider may prescribe acetaminophen.


Warning


While women may experience migraine symptoms for the first time during pregnancy, migraine symptoms may be a sign of another medical condition. Report all symptoms to your health-care provider.
