Make A Sugarfree Ice Tea Spritzer (With Stevia)

An iced tea spritzer with stevia is a natural, refreshing drink.

Iced tea spritzers are a simple combination of tea and club soda. Adding stevia helps add sweetness without adding calories or artificial ingredients. An ideal summer drink, an iced tea spritzer is as refreshing as a commercial soft drink. By making your own beverage, you control the strength and sweetness. With a few ingredients on hand, you can quickly make the beverage for guests or yourself. Try herbal and fruit teas to make additional flavors without caffeine.

Instructions

1. Brew extra strong tea. Boil 16 oz. of water. Steep four tea bags in the water for five minutes. Remove the tea bags after five minutes to avoid making a bitter tea.

2. Let the tea cool. Do not add water or ice to cool the tea. This will water down the beverage.

3. Fill a 12 oz. glass with ice. Use half a glass of ice if the tea and club soda are pre-chilled. Use a full glass of ice if the other ingredients are room temperature.

4. Fill the glass half full with tea. Fill the rest of the glass with club soda. Stir the beverage with a spoon.

5. Add one packet of stevia to the drink and stir. Taste and add more stevia if needed. Stevia is an all-natural, concentrated sweetener made from plant leaves.

6. Add lemon slices to taste.
