Reduce Headaches With Exercise

Reduce Headaches With Exercise

Headaches can ruin any day. If you are getting headaches on a regular basis you may be looking for any relief you can find. Regular exercise can help to reduce the frequency of headaches. Exercise helps to relieve stress which can cause headaches.

Instructions

1. Choose a form of exercise that you can do regularly. An enjoyable form of exercise will help to reduce your stress levels. The increased blood flow will help to prevent your headaches.

2. Warm up before you exercise, because sudden intense exercise can cause a headache. Take about five minutes to slowly bring your heartbeat up.

3. Challenge yourself and focus only on exercising. If you worry about other things while exercising, it will not relieve very much stress.

4. Make sure that you take the time to cool down and stretch at the end of each session.

5. Spend about 30 minutes exercising each day. Consistent exercise will help to reduce headaches more than inconsistent exercise.

6. Schedule a regular time to exercise. This will help your body to fall into a natural rhythm and reduce stress.
