Cleanse The Chakras & The Aura

The chakras are spinning vortices of subtle energy along the vertical axis of the body. There are seven major chakras and each one relates to a different part of the body and a different state of mind. It is believed that when the chakras are clear, one feels a deep sense of peace and the body becomes healthier. The aura is the energy surrounding the body and it is believed that when this is clear, you feel lighter and more uplifted in spirit.


Instructions


1. Take a deep breath into your diaphragm, the area at the bottom of your ribs and feel that space expand as you inhale for four counts. Hold the breath for two counts and exhale for four counts, holding the breath out for two counts.


2. Imagine a ball of white light hovering above your head, and as you inhale in the same breathing pattern, feel the white light fill the top of your head and imagine that there is a glowing white ball at the center of the top of your head. As you exhale release any stress and negativity from your body. This is your crown chakra. Its color is white and it rules your sense of gratitude, spirituality and faith in the divine.


3. Continue the same breathing pattern and imagine your forehead fill with white light. See a ball of white light at the center of your forehead, and as you exhale, release negativity. This is your third eye chakra. Its color is indigo and it rules your intuition and wisdom.


4. Breathe in the same breathing pattern, and as you inhale, imagine that you are breathing white light into your throat until you feel a ball of white light at the center of your throat. Exhale negativity and stress. This is your throat chakra. Its color is turquoise and it rules your ability to speak, listen and express your truth.


5. Continue in the same breathing pattern, and imagine that you are breathing white light into your chest. Feel a ball of white light in your chest and exhale stress and negativity. This is your heart chakra. Its colors are green and pink and it rules your ability to love and feel compassion.








6. Breathe in the same pattern, and imagine white light filling the space in the center of the stomach between the ribs until it forms a ball. Exhale negativity and stress. This is your solar plexus chakra. Its color is yellow and it rules your self esteem and confidence.


7. Continue to breathe in the same pattern, and imagine the white light filling the space in your lower abdomen until it forms a ball. Exhale negativity and stress. This is your sacral chakra. Its color is orange and it rules your creativity, emotions and sensuality.


8. Breathe in the same pattern, and imagine white light filling the area at base of your spine until it forms a ball. Exhale negativity and stress. This is your base chakra. Its color is red and it rules your sense of grounding, stability and security.








9. Take a deep breath and imagine the white light filling your entire body and extending two to three feet around your body in every direction. The area around your body is your aura. Release any negativity and stress and just sit in this space until you feel peaceful and ready to continue with your day.
