Massage The Stomach With Ayureveda Massage

Learn massage the stomach with the ancient healing art of Ayurveda. Ayurveda massage promotes the natural internal circulation of the body to increase good health and decrease areas of pain by working on the pressure points in our bodies.

Instructions

1. Understand what Ayurveda is. Ayurveda is the traditional skill of healing from India, practiced for several thousands of years. It focuses on balancing the body's three doshas, which keep the individual's emotional, mental and physical responses to disease in balance.

2. Get oils that are good for ayurveda massage. Sesame and neem oil are good choices for an Ayurveda massage because they contain healing properties that go deep down into the layers of skin. They also moisturize to keep the skin healthy and supple. Neem oil is a natural remedy for a multitude of inflammatory skin problems.

3. Spread the oil onto the stomach in a fan movement with fingers splayed. Be sure to use enough so that your fingers glide easily over the skin.

4. Massage the stomach in gentle rotations, hand flat and your fingers together. Do not apply too much pressure or the person getting the massage can start feeling nausea. Move downward on the right side over the stomach where the liver is in small gentle strokes. This works well to clean out the liver and is beneficial for those suffering from digestive problems. The key is to do small rotations, moving downward with gentle pressure
