Homemade Wrinkle Remedy

Wrinkles are a natural part of the aging process, but many people would like a way to keep their youthful appearance by eliminating wrinkles. While creams and serums are available that can make you look younger, these products are expensive and may contain harmful chemical ingredients. Instead of buying wrinkle creams, consider making your own lotions and trying home remedies that are natural and safe as well as effective.

Massage

Facial massages are a cost-free, easy way to reduce wrinkles and keep skin looking youthful. As you massage the face, blood circulation increases, thereby tightening the muscles in the face. Start at the neck, and work your way upward until you reach the top of the forehead. Use all fingers on both hands, and rapidly massage in small circular motions until you have massaged the entire face. Repeat this process at least once a day, and wrinkles will be noticeably diminished within a few weeks.

Green Grapes

Cut a green Thompson grape in half and rub it over your wrinkles. Let the juice absorb for 20 minutes, and then rinse your face with cool water to remove any grape residue. The natural oil and juice of the grape replenish the skin and tightening sagging areas. Repeat this process three times per week to keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay.

Almonds and Milk

A face mask made of almonds and milk works to erase wrinkles and create an even skin tone. Almonds are rich in vitamin A, which firms and tightens skin, while milk cleanses and nourishes skin. Soak five almonds in a cup of milk overnight (keep refrigerated). Grind the almonds into a smooth paste and stir in some of the milk used for soaking, until a smooth cream is formed. Apply an even layer of this cream over your face, and let it sit for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water to remove the mask. Use this as an anti-aging facial mask at least twice per week.

Lifestyle Changes

Overexposure to the sun can lead to fine lines, wrinkles and age spots. When exposing the skin to the sun for extended periods of time, use sunblock to keep UV rays from penetrating the skin. A sunblock with a 30 to 50 SPF is recommended for the face, to prevent sunburn and skin damage.

Stress is another factor that contributes to wrinkles. Eliminate stress as much as possible from your life, and incorporate an exercise routine into your daily schedule to work off stress as it builds up.
