Herbal phentermine is a non-prescription appetite suppressant supplement that is commonly used for weight loss. Although, herbal phentermine is touted as safe and natural (it does not contain ephedrine), some side effects are associated with the dietary weight loss supplement.


Stomach Cramps and Gas


Diet supplements act as fat blockers and also block much-needed nutrients. When this happens, stomach cramps and gas can occur.


Warning


Even natural diet supplements such as herbal phentermine can stimulate the nervous system which raises the blood pressure and heart rate. An increased heart rate puts stress on the heart increases the risk for a stroke or heart attack.


Prescription Medications


Herbal phentermine can also have adverse effects on prescription medication. It can cause issues for patients who suffer from diabetes and othe pre-existing medical conditions.


Insomnia


Because diet supplements act as a stimulant, herbal phentermine can have a caffeine-like effect and can cause insomnia.








Warning for Pregnant Women


Pregnant women or lactating mothers should not take herbal phentermine. It is not recommended for young children or patients with a terminal illness like cancer.
